TarFelt® APP is a uniquely formulated, cold-applied waterproofing membrane manufactured by saturating and coating a non-woven polyester carrier with a waterproofing compound made of special grades of modified bitumen and APP polymers. It is virtually a self-adhesive membrane supported by ShaliBond APP, eliminating the need for torching equipment and reducing labor costs.
Approval / Standards- ASTM D 5147
- Form, Appearance, Colour: Black membrane with release film, non-woven polyester reinforcement.
- The membranes must be vertically stacked and stored in a shaded area, covered by a thick fabric, and tied securely to minimize exposure to sunlight and UV.
- The membranes should be protected from all sources of heat and extreme temperatures.
- Always keep the rolls in a vertical position.
- For 1.5 / 2 mm: 1 m x 20 m (Tolerance: ± 1%)
- 12 months when stored as per recommendations.
- The membrane is non-hazardous, non-flammable, and can be disposed of in regular disposal areas.
- Dispose of membranes only after wrapping with paper, plastic, or cloth.
- In case of contact with human skin, wash with any soft solvent.
- Seek medical assistance immediately in case of any allergy.

Description:
- ShaliKote T- is a dispersion of selected grades of bitumen in water with inert and fibrousfillers. On application, it sets in 48 hours. It remains plastic in order to accommodatemovements of pipes or vessels, whose thermal insulation it protects.
- ShaliKote T-14, has a harder base than ShaliKote T-12, making it more suitable in warmerconditions. It forms a tough film and provides the coated surface more resistance to damage.
Application:
- Shali Kote T-12 & T-14 are recommended for protecting and keeping dry various types ofthermal insulations to maintain their thermal efficiency.

SuperThermoLay® is a five-layered system with Atactic Polypropylene (APP) modified non-woven polyester reinforced bituminous membrane, available in thicknesses of 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, and 5 mm. This membrane exhibits excellent tensile strength and dimensional stability. The torch side of the membrane is covered with a polyethylene film for protection.
